Wow, you have done amazing having just received your machine. I received mine over 2 weeks ago and it was defective. I will get my replacement tomorrow. Have you tried cutting out the tree? If so, what settings are you using? That was one I could not cut at all.

Yes I cut out the tree in cardstock and had not problems. I did use the highest settings for the tabs for that one.
