Please tell me what the tabs are? Are they a small bit that is still attached after you have cut? I am trying to understand the meaning as no other cutting machine I have has tabs and I thought it meant a marker for size between multi shapes.
The more you guys post the clearer it becomes, so thanks for all you and Tom are doing.

So for every cut you make on paper, you have to essentially waste a piece, small as it may be, of cardstock? Just so you don't have to use a mat? Makes no sense to me.

Hi Pat,

No you don't have to waste a piece of paper everytime you go to cut. You can use the same piece of cardstock over and over again. This is also only when you want to use that really thin pattern paper. I hope that clarifys some for you. Let me know if you have any further questions.

I just tried this too and it works great with thin paper that some other cutters can't even cut! I did it with my pressure at 3 and it doesn't even make a mark on the bottom piece of cardstock. Great find!

Hi!
Thanks for the tip about cutting thin paper. Can you do demos related to the new software that came out? I am wondering how you align the paper properly when you want to cut something out. Like if you had cardstock, how can you align it in the machine so that it will cut the page in a certain spot. I am not working with a vinyl roll. Just regular 8.5x11 paper and smaller.
